I am also a huge Aldi disciple! Like you I get excited when I see Aldi stores while traveling. Love the “random” aisle—found a counter-top ice maker for $70 bucks and haven’t bothered to fix the ice maker in on our fridge. I learned even more good things from your post. Thanks!!
Praise Aldi, I'm a founding member of the cult LOL. I love my Aldi for all the same reasons. Also drove by it 100 x thinking what the heck is this, I'm not bagging my own stuff, the quarter in the cart terrified me (weird how we get stuck in our routines) but one day I got brave and gave it a go and was like HOLY HELL literally my grocery bill slashed in half AND I'm in and out in literally 15 min. No lie! Also, another incredible benefit, is that none of the Aldi brands have food dyes. They are banned in Europe, so their foods to not have them. This was critical for me when my son was growing up and having serious behavioral reactions to them. Aldi was my savior for that and for saving time and money. Oh, and thanks for the shout out :)
Aldi for the win. And if I go in for a bagful at a time, I can skip the quarter all together. Plus, their organic berries aren't furry on day 2. It's a miracle.

I actually did not know about the food dyes, but that is really cool.
Yes, yes! Has anyone else noticed that Aldi’s fruits and vegetables are way fresher than most mainstream grocery stores? 🥑🍆🍌🍇
Shopping there has saved me so much money.
Girl, yes. And did you see Shannon’s quote about the trout? Changed my life.
Love Aldi's!
